Nikon FE front 8-5-14

The front of my newest-to-me toy, (when posted) a Nikon FE, with a Nikkor 50mm ƒ 1.4 AIs lens firmly attached. The lens is propped on a Nikon F4 focusing screen case (with an "E" screen inside...) Taken in Albany, CA by a Nikon D610 at ISO 560 with a Micro-Nikkor 55mm ƒ 3.5 AI lens. Exposure is 1/30 sec @ ƒ 5.6.
Note that as the Micro-Nikkor taking the shot is a MF, non-CPU lens, it shows up in the EXIF as 0mm ƒ 0, but the angle of view is (correctly...) shown as 55mm...
Focus is on the aperture ring... also seen is the Tiffen Haze-1 filter that serves as lens protection. (a Haze-1 or Haze-2 filter is on most of my lenses, the exceptions being the lenses that either don't need the protection, as the front element is tucked way back, (a Micro-Nikkor 55mm ƒ 3.5 AI, the lens taking the picture...) or if I can't immediately get a filter in the size (a 150-500 Sigma comes to mind, that lacked the 86mm Haze-2 that I ordered, only to have the filter back-ordered by the store...)
