Size Comparison, Chinon Bellami versus Olympus XA (35mm Cameras) 023

Size Comparison, Chinon Bellami versus Olympus XA (35mm Cameras) 023
Aperture

With the Bellami:
You need a battery.
You must manually set focus (aperture and shutter are automatic).
You must extimate the distance to the subject to set the focus (no rangefinder).
You pull the wind crank towards you to open the 'barn doors' before use.
...and push the wind crank to close the doors after use to protect the lens.
You have a nicely built camera that is a great fun to use.

With the XA:
You need a battery.
You must manually set aperture and focus (shutter is automatic).
You have a rangefinder to assist focussing.
You simply slide open the clam-shell before use.
...and slide closed after use to protect the lens.
You have a nicely built camera that is a great fun to use.
